Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.\nAbout the role\nWe are currently looking to recruit a Part Time Maintenance Technician to support site operations at our Worksop facility.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, hands on engineer seeking a reduced hours role within a fast paced production environment\nPlease note: This role includes a significant on call commitment, so we are looking for candidates who are comfortable with this level of responsibility.\nWork Pattern\nThis role is structured around a 3 week cycle:\nWeek 1: 6:00am - 2:00pm\nWeek 2: 6:00am - 2:00pm\nWeek 3: 10:00am - 6:00pm\nCore Hours (Part Time):\n2 days per week (16 hours)or\n\nUp to 50% hours (5 days over a 2 week period) depending on business needs and candidate preference\nOn Call Requirement (Key Part of Role)\n1 full week on call in every 3 week cycle (Week 3)\nOn call covers evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays (if applicable)\nA weekly allowance is paid during your on call week\nThis is paid in addition to your base salary\nAdditional payments are made for any call outs or site attendance\nKey Accountabilities\nCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to breakdowns\nDiagnose faults across mechanical and electrical systems\nSupport continuous operation of production and site equipment\nMaintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and GMP compliance\nComplete maintenance documentation and follow permit to work procedures\nWork collaboratively with production and engineering teams\nQualifications\nQualifications & Experience\nEssential:\nPrevious maintenance experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or similar environment\nMulti skilled capability with both mechanical and electrical fault finding\nUnderstanding of food safety and hygiene standards\nFlexible approach to working hours and on call requirements\nDesirable:\nRecognised engineering qualification (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship)\nExperience with PLC fault finding or automated systems\nOur Offer\nWe provide a fast paced stimulating international environment, which will stretch your abilities and channel your talents.
