Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.\nJob Purpose and Impact\nThe Marketing Specialist, will help execute marketing activities for the assigned product or category. In this role, you will apply basic knowledge of the business, market, customer drivers and product or category offerings to inform customer driven marketing initiatives that accomplish business and financial goals.\nKey Accountabilities\nHelp execute the marketing annual plans for the assigned product or category, incorporating brands and customer segments as relevant and in alignment with broader business objectives.\nHelp execute comprehensive product or category specific promotional programs, campaigns and other marketing activations in alignment with budgets and relevant competitive, customer and market dynamics.\nUnderstand customer needs, competitor intelligence, market trends and consumer behaviors to support marketing execution for the product or category.\nParticipate in initiatives related to innovation, new product development, customer solutions or product commercialization as relevant.\nSupport new products, services or solutions launches for the assigned product or category.\nHelp improve customer experience for the assigned product or category and support the development of differentiated customer value propositions.\nHelp deliver marketing trainings, events and collateral on the product or category.\nHandle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Food Technology, or related field.\nExperience in Trade Marketing, Commercial Marketing, Brand Activation, or Category Marketing.\nProven experience supporting commercial growth through channel or customer activation initiatives.\nStrong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience within Food, Agriculture, Food Manufacturing, Foodservice, or HORECA industries.\nExposure to Modern Trade, Retail, or Multi-Channel commercial environments.\nExperience partnering with Sales, R&D, Supply Chain, and external agencies/vendors.\nStrong understanding of shopper behavior, market trends, and consumer insights.\nExperience with merchandising, trade activation, or go-to-market execution.\nAt Cargill, we are committed to building a workplace where individuals from all backgrounds feel respected, valued, and able to contribute fully.
