This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide variety of manufacturing equipment while developing your electrical skills through industry leading training.\nIf you have a strong mechanical maintenance background and enjoy fault finding, problem solving and continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.\nThe Role\nWorking within a highly automated manufacturing environment, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving plant reliability through planned and reactive maintenance activities. The role combines preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance to ensure the site's equipment continues to operate safely and efficiently.\nWeekly Rotating shifts: Mon - Fri 8hrs per shift 6am to 2pm, 7am to 3pm, 2pm to 10pm\nCall outs : 1 every 6 weeks\nKey Accountabilities\nUtilize maintenance and reliability practices with some guidance to ensure all assets are maintained in safe condition while continuing to ensure the life of the equipment being used.\nComplete preventative, predictive and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility, with limited direction.\nLeverage knowledge and ability to operate 1 or 2 standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools and preventative maintenance technology tools.\nDemonstrate experience in 1 or 2 maintenance trades and components (ex. electrical, welding, pipefitting, fabrication, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, mechanical maintenance and hydraulic and pneumatic systems).\nModify with some direction or instruction in either electrical or mechanical schematics, blueprints and operation manuals.\nDocument completed work and the conditions found utilizing maintenance computer software and interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations.\nOperate forklifts and scissor lifts following standard production documentation to deliver to the correct location.\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nA recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, Apprenticeship or equivalent)\nPrevious experience within manufacturing, food, FMCG, chemical or other industrial environments\nStrong mechanical fault finding and maintenance experience\nExperience working on rotating equipment, pumps, bearings, gearboxes or hydraulic and pneumatic systems\nA proactive approach to problem solving\nGood communication skills and a team focused attitude\nDesirable\nBasic electrical fault-finding experience\nPLC fault finding experience\nOur Offer\nWe provide a fast paced stimulating international environment, which will stretch your abilities and channel your talents.
