This position is in our Ag & Trading enterprise, where we connect producers and users of grains and oilseeds around the globe through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. We also offer a range of farmer services and risk management solutions.

Job Type: Part Time

Shift available: Afternoon, 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Compensation: $22.50/hr

Principal Accountabilities:

• Provide housekeeping, organization, and sanitation in assigned office areas, lunchroom, and washrooms
• Duties include, but are not limited to: sweeping, mopping, brushing, beautifying, stacking, organizing, transporting/carrying bags, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning, etc.
• Areas will include, but are not limited to floors, walls, ceilings, equipment, windows, doors, etc.
• Ability to gather instructions by working with plant operators and walking through all areas of the plant
• Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada.
• Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old.
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Be able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
• Be able to understand and communicate in English(verbal/written)?
• Be able to work overtime, holidays, weekends, or different shifts if required, with advanced notice

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience and/ or references in janitorial work
• High School diploma or GED Equivalent
