Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.\nJob Purpose and Impact\nReporting to the Production Manager at our Baupte site (310 employees), you will join the Process Development Group team within Cargill Starches, Sweeteners & Texturizers.\nYour primary mission will be to ensure the reliability and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, actively contributing to the site's competitiveness, safety, and environmental performance.\nKey Accountabilities\nAct as the subject matter expert for manufacturing processes, responsible for reliability and continuous improvement\nLead the execution of projects related to process engineering and process safety\nDevelop and maintain performance indicators (KPIs) for production lines and operations, and use them constructively to drive process improvement\nParticipate in deviation analyses and the development of corrective solutions as a process expert\nDevelop and execute improvement projects aimed at reducing costs (yield, energy, productivity, waste reduction)\nImprove the safety of people, processes, food safety standards, and environmental impact\nEnsure the transfer of knowledge and best practices (leading practices) within production teams\nWrite procedures and ensure their proper implementation on the floor\nProvide support to engineering teams on projects impacting manufacturing processes\nDevelop a multi-year process improvement roadmap to maintain the competitiveness of the industrial facility\nWhen necessary, provide temporary coverage for the Production Supervisor to ensure operational continuity\nQualifications\nChemical Engineering degree or General Engineering degree with a specialization in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in production and/or process engineering.\nContinuous improvement certifications (Lean Six Sigma / Green Belt) are considered a plus.\nAbility to work effectively with multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
