Join us and reach your higher purpose at Cargill.\nThis position is in Cargill’s bioindustrial business, where manufacturers and retailers companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.\nJob Purpose and Impact\nThe Process Safety Engineer will be responsible to provide technical expertise in developing process safety capabilities to ensure safe and effective operation of the plant. In this role, you will contribute to deliver/implement process safety programs, practices, tools, trainings, and assessments for the related disciplines, aligned to the organization's practices and procedures.\nKey Accountabilities\nProvide technical support to a domain area required for standard operations as well as projects.\nProvide guidance to complex operations, implementing solutions to improve process safety and reliability.\nPartner with and provide guidance to cross functional teams to implement tools and methodologies that will enable best practices related to process safety.\nResponsible for completing the Process risk assessments (PRAs) and relevant actions as per schedule\nCoordinate with multi disciplined teams to provide process safety input for management of change (MoC) process, process safety related incident investigation, risk assessments, LoPAs etc. \nImplement accountability measures, reporting mechanisms and corporate benchmark metrics to enforce effective utilization and integrity of automated tools and systems.\nIndependently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in a Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience. \nExperience of working in a Manufacturing environment in a Process Safety Engineering position.\nRelated work experience with process risk analysis, risk assessment, hazard studies, root cause analysis.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nExperience working in engineering, technical operations, process safety management.\nKnowledge and understanding of industry leading practices in process safety management.\nOur Offer\nWe provide a fast paced stimulating international environment, which will stretch your abilities and channel your talents.
