Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.\nJob Purpose and Impact\nThe Process Technician will perform a variety of responsibilities, in production facility assigned areas, including operating mechanical machinery and equipment, performing maintenance and troubleshooting issues, utilizing a broad understanding of varied and multi-dimensional processes. In this role, you will be assigned different work areas as needed to ensure production goals are met, support production of quality product and maximize throughput while following all safety and regulatory polices.\nKey Accountabilities\nOperate equipment and technology tools in assigned areas of the production facility, backfilling prior areas as needed and utilize a broad understanding of policies and procedures with regular guidance to perform required duties.\nPerform variety of responsibilities in identified areas that may include loading and unloading bulk materials, packaging, terminal operations, mixing, monitoring computerized control systems and making machine processing adjustments.\nBroaden operating procedures knowledge, receive input from peers and provide feedback on clarity and effectiveness of guidance, including procedure documentation.\nPerform maintenance and troubleshoot machine and equipment issues, making adjustments as necessary.\nRecord production and inventory activities in computerized systems.\nUnderstand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures, maintain a safe and clean work environment and control work pace and progress on assigned equipment and processes, requiring awareness of links with other process areas\nMaintain machine and equipment performance to ensure production output.\nAchieve the unit’s key performance indicators and execute activities aimed to achieve KPI.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nMinimum Diploma degree (D3) in chemical, food, industrial or other relevant engineering field or manufacturing.\nFresh Graduated or Minimum 2 years-experience in food and beverage manufacturing.\nStrong knowledge and aptitude to manufacturing.\nCapable of building collaborative working relationships.\nDemonstrated ability to delegate and hold self and others accountability.\nDemonstrated excellence in priority setting and execution skills.\nOther minimum qualifications may apply\nPreferred Qualifications\nGood communication skills, both oral and written.\nMedium proficiency with MS Office.\nFamiliar with cocoa process.\nAt Cargill, we care about your safety and want your job search experience to be a positive one.
