Join us and reach your higher purpose at Cargill.\nThis position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.\nJob Type: Full Time\nShifts Available: 1st shift\nCompensation: $22.60/hr.\n\n Benefits\nMedical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Insurance\nHealth and Wellness Incentives\nPaid Vacation and Holidays\n401(k) with Cargill matching contributions\nFlexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)\nShort-Term Disability and Life Insurance\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nTuition Reimbursement\nEmployee Discounts\nPrincipal Accountabilities:\nAccurately input performance and production downtime data into the system\nCollect product samples and conduct quality checks in accordance with established standards\nOperate a forklift safely and efficiently to support material handling\nUse end loaders to fill salt hoppers, load trucks, transferring salt into inventory \nPerform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to reduce downtime\nRe-palletize and properly dispose distressed products\nExecute changeover procedures\nUnderstanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations\nMaintaining a safe and clean work environment\nOther duties as assigned \nRequired Qualifications:\nRight to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.\nCargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.\nAbility to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)\nBasic computer skills\nAbility to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)\nAbility to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)\nAbility to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodation \nAbility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice?\nExperience operating a front-end loader\nExperience operating forklifts\nExperience working in a production related work.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP\nHigh school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience\nConsidered candidates will receive a phone call from a (952) area code.
