In this role, you will oversee and hold operating facilities accountable to standards for safety, quality, operational effectiveness and financial performance. You will also support the Plant Manager in achieving operational KPIs, driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring production goals are met through a hands-on leadership approach on the shop floor.\nKey Accountabilities\nExecute routine operations of assigned area, ensuring direct reports are following policies and procedures related to employee, food and feed safety and environmental compliance.\nSupport the Plant Manager in achieving operational KPIs across the production department.\nMonitor production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are within specifications.\nPartner with production supervisors to meet customer specifications and timelines.\nAdminister production budget for a department, process, or shift and execute purchase orders while ensuring timely payment of invoices.\nDevelop operational plans and monitor routine operations for all production processes for multiple departments, processes and shifts.\nLead CAPEX and continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to increase productivity, optimize processes, reduce costs and improve overall operational performance and efficiency.\nWork closely with other plant stakeholders including EHS, Commercial, Supply Chain, Quality and Maintenance teams to achieve site goals.\nDeliver accurate reports, operational updates and performance data to the Plant Manager and relevant stakeholders.\nResponsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nSecondary education level or equivalent\nDemonstrate experience in production manufacturing operations.\nProven experience in a people leadership role managing large teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBlack Belt certification or other certification in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing or Operational Excellence.\nOur Offer\nWe provide a fast paced stimulating international environment, which will stretch your abilities and channel your talents.
