Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.\nJob Purpose and Impact\nThe Production Scheduler will plan, prepare, issue and control production schedules and direct material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of goods and materials to meet production requirements. In this role, you will participate in production planning and execution, customer and client interaction, business partnership, systems and data management and reporting and analysis.\nKey Accountabilities\nCreate and publish daily production plans.\nExpedite workflow and coordinate changes in schedules.\nParticipate in setting master production planning, material requirements planning and production scheduling metrics targets.\nProvide necessary input to supply planner for assigned product or location.\nMaintain data relevant to production scheduling activities including planning calendars, material data and location data.\nIndependently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience\nMinimum of two years of related work experience\nSAP or PSO experience\nPreferred Qualifications\nThree years of experience with at least one in master production planning, production scheduling or supply planning\nPosition Details\nLocation: Wichita, KS\nSchedule: Monday to Friday | 7:00am-4:00pm\nPosting type: Internal & External\nRelocation assistance is not provided for this role\nThe business will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position\nAt Cargill we put people first.
