This role performs a broader range of operational tasks, makes routine process adjustments, and troubleshoots common equipment and process issues. The technician applies growing technical knowledge and sound judgment to support reliable production performance and continuous operations.\nWhat You Will Do\nOperate, monitor, and adjust production, packaging, weighing, and material handling equipment to meet product specifications.\nSet up and change over equipment with moderate complexity following standard procedures.\nTroubleshoot equipment and process issues, resolving routine problems and escalating complex issues as needed.\nPerform preventive and autonomous maintenance tasks using hand and power tools.\nCollect samples and accurately record production, quality, and process data using computer systems or paperwork.\nSupport other technicians by sharing knowledge, following safety, food safety, and housekeeping standards while supporting continuous improvement efforts.\nWork flexible schedules including overtime, weekends, holidays, or rotating shifts with advance notice.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWhat You Will Need\nMust be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.\nMust be 18 years or older.\nUnderstand and communicate efficiently in English (verbal/written).\nAbility to use computer systems to accurately enter production, quality, and equipment data. \nAt least 1 year of experience operating production, packaging, or material handling equipment in a manufacturing environment.\nAbility to work indoors/outdoors environments (heat, cold, dust, and noise) while performing physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, bending, twisting, and working at heights (4 feet and above), with or without reasonable accommodation.\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nExperience operating and adjusting production, packaging, or material handling equipment with limited supervision.\nComfort troubleshooting routine equipment or process issues and knowing when to escalate.\nExperience performing basic autonomous maintenance using hand or power tools.\nBenefits\nMedical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Insurance\nPaid Vacation and Holidays\n401(k) with Cargill Matching Contributions\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nDevelopment Opportunities\nAbout Cargill\nCargill is a family company committed to providing food and agricultural solutions to nourish the world in a safe, responsible, and sustainable way.
