In this hands-on role, you’ll operate and monitor chemical processes, perform quality checks and sampling, handle materials, and assist with preventative maintenance to ensure production, utility, and wastewater systems run reliably. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with industrial equipment, following procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement in a regulated environment.\n\nWhat You will Do\nOperate and monitor chemical, mechanical, or thermal processes using equipment control panels, manual valves, and computer systems.\nCollect samples, run analytical tests, and perform quality checks to ensure products, utilities, and wastewater systems meet specifications.\nLoad and unload chemicals into tank trucks and railcars, and operate mobile equipment such as forklifts or loaders.\nPerform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot routine equipment issues using hand, power, and basic electrical tools.\nInspect equipment, buildings, and grounds, and assist with light repairs and continuous improvement activities.\nFollow all safety, regulatory, and permitting requirements while maintaining accurate documentation and a clean, safe work environment.\nWilling to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or variable shifts with advance notice.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nWhat You Will Need\nMust be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.\nMust be 18 years or older.\nAbility to understand and communicate in English, verbal and written.\nBasic computer skills.\nAble to work indoors and outdoors, including at heights of 4 feet or more, and capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, bending, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation and while using appropriate PPE.\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nHigh school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.\nExperience in a production or industrial environment.\nExperience operating mobile equipment such as forklifts or skid-steers.\nExperience with boiler operations.\nBenefits\nMedical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Insurance\nPaid Vacation and Holidays\n401(k) with Cargill Matching Contributions\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nDevelopment Opportunities\nAbout Cargill\nCargill is a family company committed to providing food and agricultural solutions to nourish the world in a safe, responsible, and sustainable way.
