September-November 7am-7pm Monday- Saturday, Sunday 12pm-6pm]\nCompensation: $20hr\nJob Overview\nThe Scale Operator supports seasonal grain facility operations by accurately weighing and grading inbound and outbound vehicles. In this role, you will complete scale tickets, perform administrative checks, and support daily reporting to maintain accurate and compliant grain movement records. You will work in a customer-facing, fast-paced environment that requires strong attention to detail, safety, and communication.\nKey Accountabilities\nWhat You Will Do\nOperate the grain elevator scale to weigh and grade inbound and outbound grain and issue scale tickets.\nProvide customer service.\nRun daily reports, balance statements, and coordinate cross-checks of scale equipment.\nMaintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety policies.\nAbility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.\nPerform other duties as assigned. \nWhat You Will Need\nMust be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.\nMust be 18 years or older.\nUnderstand and communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).\nUse a computer to complete reporting and administrative tasks.\nAbility to work indoors and outdoors in cold or warm production settings, including in guarded areas at heights ranging from 4 to 150 feet, while wearing required PPE and performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, bending, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nPrior production work experience.\nAdministrative and customer service experience \nComputer skills to complete reporting \nQualifications\nAbout Cargill\nCargill is a family company committed to providing food and agricultural solutions to nourish the world in a safe, responsible, and sustainable way.
