This will include your involvement in promoting and maintaining a culture of safety, leading production management practices, personnel management, setting performance standards, establishing budgets, managing costs, employee relations, assisting with the management of capital projects , and implementation of reliability, continuous improvement and customer service excellence.\nKey Accountabilities\n20% Environmental Health and Safety; Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory\nInfluence and support a culture of safety.\nSupport implementation of safety plans.\nSupport activities to ensure EHS audit compliance.\nSupport implementation of food safety and quality plans.\nSupport activities to ensure food safety and quality compliance.\n30% Leadership;\nLead through cause analysis to address root causes.\nLeading continuous improvement projects/programs via both direct and remote influence.\nChampion key initiatives across multiple manufacturing locations.\nTemporary fill in for plant manager transitions as needed.\n50% Manufacturing Excellence\nSupport execution of continuous improvement/production efficiency/reliability projects across multiple manufacturing locations.\nSupport execution of assigned capital projects.\nWork on projects involving other functions of the business or other plants as assigned.\nThis position requires up to 50% travel across multiple plant locations within the region.\nQualifications\nMinimum Required Qualifications\nMinimum 3 years supervisory/management experience in a operations environment\nDemonstrated strong leadership skills.\nDemonstated knowledge and experience with people management.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree\nDemonstrated success in EHS compliance management (environmental health and safety)\nStrong computer skills\nDemonstrated maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.\nStrong problem solving and decision making
