This job makes sound technical decisions that effectively leverage Salesforce platform capabilities while balancing business value, performance, technical debt & long-term maintainability, and demonstrates end-to-end ownership from design through production support & continuous improvement.\nKey Accountabilities\nSOFTWARE ENGINEERING: Designs and develops high-quality software solutions by writing clean, maintainable and efficient codes, that delivers measurable business value.\nAUTOMATION: Leads the application of internal software deployment platform, methodologies, CI/CD pipelines and tools to automate the deployment process, ensuring smooth and reliable releases.\nCOLLABORATION: Partners and leads cross functional team of product managers, designers and different engineers to gather complex requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.\nTESTING, DEBUGGING and AUTOMATION: Writes and maintains unit tests and integration tests and performs debugging to maintain the quality and performance of the software. Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to support regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.\nDEFECT MANAGEMENT: Identify, document, and track defects, working with the team to ensure timely resolution and verification.\nAGILE COLLABORATION: Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and other QA team members in an Agile/Scrum team to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.\nCONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Suggests options for improving the software development and deployment processes and implements the approved standards to improve efficiency and reliability.\nDOCUMENTATION: Builds and maintains comprehensive documentation for complex software applications, deployment processes and system configurations.\nTECHNICAL SUPPORT: Provides technical support and troubleshooting for complex issues with deployed applications to ensure minimal downtime and fast resolution.\nQualifications\nHave a Bachelor's degree with minimum requirement of 9+ years of strong professional software development experience, with demonstrated ability to design, build, test & maintain production applications. \nHands-on Experience in Salesforce software development, using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Salesforce API and Salesforce administration. \nExperience developing automated unit, integration, functional & regression tests, with a focus on improving software quality & reducing manual testing\nExperience with modern software engineering practices like git-based source control, branching strategies, DevOps, CI/CD and automated quality and security gates and observability\nExperience working across the full software development lifecycle, from technical design & implementation through testing, deployment & production support.\nGood to have:\nExperience developing mobile applications using React Native, including integration with backend services and APIs.\nExperience with JavaScript/TypeScript & React.\nExperience building automated test frameworks using tools appropriate for web, mobile & API testing.\nGood written and oral communication skills along with good product documentation skills.\nSalesforce Platform Developer certification or other relevant Salesforce
