Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.\nJob Purpose and Impact\nAs Shift Supervisor Production, you lead and coordinate all production activities during your shift to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality operations. You provide daily leadership to operators and packing employees, ensuring production targets, food safety requirements, and quality standards are achieved. You are a visible presence on the shop floor, supporting employees, solving operational challenges, and promoting continuous improvement. You work in a 3-shift system and report to the Production Manager. This role plays a key part in maintaining a strong safety culture, delivering operational excellence, and developing engaged teams in a food manufacturing environment.\nKey Accountabilities\nAssist in execution of day-to-day operations for assigned area, ensuring reports are following policies and procedures related to employee safety and food and feed safety.\nMonitor risks associated with products and ensure the quality of the product meets customer specifications.\nMaintain adherence to company safety and hygiene standards.\nEnsure employee and product safety at all times by completing full training according to task procedures and individual needs.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency and operational performance.\nMentor production workers and participate in their selection. Handle holidays, welfare, performance reviews and engagement, highlight training gaps and needs, disciplines, performance management and absent management.\nIdentify risks and recommend areas of improvement and innovation.\nHandle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience\nEffective communication and team development skills.\nComputer literate\nPrevious experience as team leader in a production environment or shown ability in a skilled operative position with the willingness to undertake further qualification if required.\nOther minimum qualifications may apply\nFluent in Dutch and English\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in a food manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of HACCP, food safety and quality systems. \nExperience leading operators, production teams or packaging teams.\nExperience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, 5S or Kaizen.\nExperience analysing production KPIs including output, downtime, yield and waste.\nFluent Dutch language skills and a good working knowledge of English.\nOur Offer\nWe provide a fast paced stimulating international environment, which will stretch your abilities and channel your talents.
