Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.\nJob Purpose and Impact\nThe Shipping and Warehouse Supervisor will provide strategic operational oversight for shipping, warehouse, and raw material operations. In this role, you will oversee and hold assigned operating areas accountable to standards for safety, quality, operational effectiveness and financial performance.\nKey Accountabilities\nExecute routine operations of assigned areas, ensuring direct reports are following policies and procedures related to employee, food and feed safety and environmental compliance.\nMonitor shipping, warehouse and raw material outcomes, quantity and quality to ensure customer, production and food safety requirements are within specifications.\nPartner with production supervisors and other functional teams to meet customer specifications, production requirements and timelines.\nOversee the receipt, storage, movement and availability of raw materials to support production requirements.\nOversee warehouse operations, including finished goods storage, inventory accuracy, product movement, staging and loading activities.\nCoordinate shipping activities to support accurate and timely movement of finished products to customers.\nAdminister both operations and maintenance department budgets, execute purchase orders, complete the work on time, and ensure timely payment of invoices.\nDevelop operational plans and monitor routine operations for shipping, warehouse and raw material processes.\nDevelop, supervise and provide coaching to direct reports, including coaching company core values and guiding principles.\nResponsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience\nMinimum one year of directly related work experience\nPreferred Qualifications\nOne year of supervisory experience\nLean six sigma certification\nExperience in shipping, warehouse, logistics, material handling or manufacturing operations\nExperience supervising employees in a unionized manufacturing environment\nPosition information:\nRelocation will not be provided for this position\nWork schedule:Dayshift Mon- Fri: 7am - 4pm occasional weekend work | on call \nPosition is based in Newark, CA\nThe expected salary for this position is $95K- $125K. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
