We do the right thing-today and for generations to come.\nJob Purpose and Impact\nCargill is seeking a Senior Application Development Lead to provide technology leadership across the “Make” and “Deliver” domains of Supply Chain and Plant Operations. The role will focus on SAP S/4HANA and the broader application and technology ecosystem, connecting manufacturing and plant operations with logistics execution, logistics document management, warehousing, and transportation.\nYou will shape scalable, integrated solutions using established enterprise platforms together with emerging capabilities including SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, modern integration technologies, automation, and Agentic AI. The role combines strong techno-functional expertise with strategic leadership to drive greater integration, efficiency, and business value across end-to-end supply chain operations.\nAs a thought leader, you will partner with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Product Managers, architects, developers, and technology teams to translate business priorities into a clear technology direction and executable solutionsto installed applications.\n\nKey Accountabilities\nSAP REQUIREMENTS SOLUTIONING: Capture and analysis of business requirements. Research and provide solution alternatives and implement the preferred recommendations.\nSAP APPLICATION CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT: Builds complex application configurations to meet user and business requirements while identifying improvements to complex application support processes and procedures.\nSAP APPLICATION DEPLOYMENT: Performs advanced design, testing and deployment of new development, updates, or fixes of application version releases.\nUSER COMMUNICATION & SUPPORT: Plays a key role and keeps an open channel of communication with users to respond to complex application support requests and needs.\nAPPLICATION SUPPORT: Conducts complex technical application support activities to deliver on business outcomes.\nSTAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Partners with multi-functional teams, including developers, product managers, other workstream leads, project leadership, and business partners to ensure solutions align with standards and project goals.\nWORKSTREAM LEADERSHIP: Represent Operations workstream to project leadership; Plan workstream staffing and budget; Coach, develop, and mentor individual team members\n\nQualifications\nMinimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience.
