Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.\nJob Purpose and Impact\nLocation: Barcelona / Sant Cugat area preferred (hybrid working) or Colmenar Viejo (Madrid area).\nThe Senior Technical Account Manager, is a technical expert responsible for providing advice and insights to Bakery customers in Southern Europe (Spain and Italy) while helping the business achieve growth targets. In this role, you will understand customer strategies and needs and help them to improve their products, results and reach and exceed their goals through product solutions and services. You will also identify new business development opportunities within existing customers and/or with new product, ingredient and concept opportunities, find and propose solutions, lead projects, communicate and train customers. You will be a trusted advisor to customers and provide strategic and technical direction for account managers.\nThe position reports to the R&D Bakery Technical Account Manager Director\nKey Accountabilities\nPartner with the customer's research and development team to understand the business strategy and anticipate needs of the customer\nParticipate in technical contract negotiations, regular customer meetings, propose strategy, positioning and value proposition to customers\nProvide product, application, ingredient, processing expertise and training\nAct as the technical link with Cargill Marketing and Technology teams within R&D and other functions to assess opportunities for improvement and provide advice and consultation to customers\nConstantly expand knowledge on customer needs, their applications and markets to create new innovation ideas for new projects to generate value for Cargill and our customers\nGrows incremental contribution margin to meet agreed growth targets with customers\nQualifications\nBachelor's/ Masters degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, Food Chemistry or a similar area\nStrong knowledge of Fats and Oils and how they interact with other ingredients in Food Systems\n5 or more years experience in a Technical/ Technical Account Management position which translates Technical needs into Commercial solutions\nUnderstanding of the Bakery category\nFluent English and Spanish - required as customers are based in Spain and interaction with international colleagues in English \nAbility to travel 20% of the time in South West Europe\nOur Offer\nWe provide a fast paced stimulating international environment, which will stretch your abilities and channel your talents.
