Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.\nJob Purpose and Impact\nThe Transportation Support Coordinator will proactively monitor and communicate delivery status of shipments to sales, customers, carriers and other stakeholders. In this role, you will collect and organize data for company reporting, including metrics and service failures for management analysis.\nKey Accountabilities\nField inbound calls from customers, and carriers, assess information and take appropriate actions, to include providing relevant details to stakeholders.\nMonitor pick-ups and deliveries, communicate delays and reasons to sales and carriers, handle returns, diversions and order changes.\nUse defined procedures, to respond and resolve routine logistics issues to provide the best value for the customer and the carrier.\nCompile documentation of service incidents to be presented to the management for resolution\nYou will work under general supervision and independently solve moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues while referring more complex problems to a higher-level staff. \nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent\nConfirmed ability to be a team player and perform in a fast-paced environment, including sound prioritization, sense of urgency and multitasking\nExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills\nDemonstrated strong client and customer focus\nMinimum of two years of related work experience\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related area.\nMinimum of two years of customer service experience\nCustomer Service Experience\nTransportation Experience\nComputer Skills\nPosition Details\nLocation: Wichita, KS\nSchedule: Hybrid | Monday to Friday | 8:000am-5:00pm\nPosting type: Internal & External\nRelocation assistance is not provided for this role\nThe business will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position\nAt Cargill we put people first.
