Our flagship platform supports both local and international air cargo stakeholders by enhancing operational productivity through electronic messaging and value-added digital services.\nWe are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior/ Lead Systems Engineer (Azure & Infrastructure Systems) to join our Network and Operation team.\nRole Overview\nThe successful candidate will be part of the IT Systems and Infrastructure team, responsible for managing and supporting both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure environments. This includes Microsoft Azure services, server systems, virtualization platforms, storage, backup solutions, and supporting network infrastructure.\nReporting to the IT Delivery Manager / Team Lead, the candidate will play a key role in architecting, implementing, securing, and maintaining enterprise IT systems to ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and operational resilience.\nThe appointment level will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience, technical competencies, and certifications.\nKey Responsibilities\nPrimary Responsibilities\nDesign, deploy, administer, and maintain Microsoft Azure and on-premises infrastructure environments.\nManage and enhance Microsoft server systems, virtualization platforms, clustering, backup and disaster recovery solutions.\nSupport hybrid infrastructure environments involving Windows and Linux systems.\nMonitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.\nPerform infrastructure hardening, vulnerability remediation, patch management, and security improvements.\nConduct system performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning activities.\nWork closely with application developers and project teams to deploy and support enterprise applications.\nManage and support Azure services including but not limited to the following:\nAzure Virtual Machines\nAzure Backup & Site Recovery\nAzure Networking\nAzure Identity & Access Management\nAzure Kubernetes Service (AKS)\nAzure Service Bus\nAzure B2C \nResearch, evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and solutions to improve operational efficiency and reliability.\nParticipate in infrastructure projects, proof-of-concept (POC) implementations, system upgrades, and cloud transformation initiatives.\nSupport IT Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, testing, and exercise activities.\nSenior engineers are expected to have strong experience in designing and architecting Microsoft systems, virtualization platforms, Azure and security solutions.\nSecondary Responsibilities\nThe candidate will also participate in rotational operational support duties, including:\n1) Daily infrastructure operations such as:\nBackup monitoring\nSystem maintenance\nInfrastructure health checks\nPerformance monitoring\nEnd-user support\n2) After office hours standby to:\nRespond to critical system alerts\nProvide Level 2 technical support for infrastructure and application-related issues\nWhen not on duty, Senior Engineer are expected to provide Level 3 support to their members.\nQualifications & Experience:\nDegree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (Mandatory)\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Mandatory)\nSecurity related certification (Optional)\nOther relevant Microsoft Azure infrastructure or cloud certifications\nAdditional Advantageous Experience:\nExperience in the following areas will be considered a plus:\nEnterprise Storage solutions\nMicrosoft 365 administration\nSystem Integrator (SI) or Cloud provider environment experience\nMS SQL MI and Mongo DB administration\nDesired Attributes:\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills\nSelf-motivated with a strong willingness to learn new
