# Sr. Java Engineer

A skilled and driven Sr. / Lead Java Engineer to design, build, and scale backend systems that power SprintPay, our payment solution for the global logistics industry. You'll take ownership of complex services end-to-end, make sound architectural calls, write high-quality production code, and help raise the bar for engineering practices across the team. This role is based in our Hyderabad office on a hybrid schedule. The core responsibilities for the job include the following: Technical Ownership: Design, build, and own backend services and APIs within the SprintPay platform. Write clean, well-tested, production-grade code and review PRs with rigor and depth. Contribute to architectural decisions, design reviews, and technical roadmap planning. Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, and participate in on-call rotations. Mentorship and Collaboration: Mentor and guide engineers through pairing, code reviews, and design walkthroughs. Partner closely with product managers, QA, and cross-functional teams to deliver features. Help establish and uphold engineering best practices, coding standards, and documentation.
