Guided by his legacy and our mission—We serve and protect all hardworking people by building durable products—we remain dedicated to upholding these principles in every decision we make and every product we create.\nAssociate Responsibilities\nDefine a comprehensive enterprise DevOps, CI/CD process for Carhartt’s software delivery\nAutomate, maintain and enhance Carhartt’s build and deployment processes for Dev, QA, Staging and Production environments\nResponsible for managing the end-to-end release and deployment processes for Carhartt’s public-facing websites and enterprise applications\nResponsible for embedding Carhartt’s security policies and practices into the DevOps pipeline, facilitating continuous security testing, and coordinating with the Cybersecurity team in implementing robust security measures across the development lifecycle\nResponsible for integrating automated testing frameworks and deployment tools to maintain quality assurance throughout the pipeline\nManage release cycles, ensuring versioning and documentation of software releases for traceability\nResponsible for documenting build and deployments issues; work with the devs, architects and SAP to troubleshoot and resolve the issues\nDrive DevOps culture across the enterprise. Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and drive continuous improvement in DevOps and CI/CD practices\nMaintain and publish key DevOps metrics to Carhartt’s leadership on a monthly/quarterly basis\nCollaborate with Carhartt devs to help provision scalable and reliable application software running in a cloud environment\n\nRequired Education\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology discipline or equivalent work experience\nRequired Skills & Experience\nMinimum of 7-9 years of work experience in a related field including the following: \n4 years of hands-on DevOps and CI/CD experience with eComm/Retail/Web applications\n2-3 years of hands-on experience with build and deployment process for SAP or similar enterprise applications\nDevOps certification (e.g, MS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar) preferred\nExperience with blue-green deployments preferred\nHands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub, Ant, Maven, JUnit, Postman, SAP Build and Deployment process, API, SQL, DB, root cause analysis and troubleshooting\nHands-on experience with Java and Angular. Proficiency with code review process, development best practices, cloud deployment process and services (preferably Azure)\nHands-on experience with version management tools and process to manage and track code changes\nKnowledge of Selenium, ANSIBLE, Dynatrace, SAP Hybris/Commerce Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Sonarqube, Infrastructure as code (IaC) and GitHub advanced security\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively tailor communication of technically complex issues to various audiences \nAbility to be assertive and take control in stressful situations \nStrong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and attention to detail\nDemonstrated ability to carry out project and/or assigned work duties\nOpen to feedback\nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team\nStrong interpersonal skills with a focus on listening and questioning skills\nStrong documentation skills\nProven analytical and problem-solving abilities\nExperience supporting MS Office products, preferably MS Office 365 products and Windows 10 is also required\nExperience with Agile and Scrum methodologies\nFamiliarity with basic ITSM principles\nPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions\nNormal office environment.
