We are looking for a compassionate, organized, hands-on Team Leader / Project Manager to lead small teams and keep projects running smoothly from start to finish.\nThis project-based role combines team leadership with active participation in the work. You will collaborate closely with the Owners, guide employees on-site, and provide the thoughtful service our clients need during some of life’s most challenging transitions.\nThis role offers variety, and the responsibilities below reflect the different types of projects we handle. Not all duties are performed every day; daily tasks vary depending on the stage and needs of each active project.\nWhat We Offer\nFlexible, project-based hours.\nOpportunities for professional growth and expanded leadership responsibilities.\nA varied, hands-on work environment where every project is different.\nMeaningful work that makes a difference for local seniors and families.\nResponsibilities\nProject Leadership & Team Development\nPlan and coordinate daily tasks, assign responsibilities, and lead teams through auction preparation, packing, relocation, resettling, and clean-out projects.\nKeep projects on schedule and within allocated labor hours while maintaining quality, productivity, and exceptional customer service.\nTrain and mentor employees, review their progress on-site, and provide immediate feedback to correct issues and reinforce best practices.\nPrepare monthly employee performance reports and meet with employees to review their progress and efficiency on projects.\nCreate a welcoming, respectful work environment and lead by example while reinforcing company policies, procedures, and safety standards.\nMonitor attendance and ensure employees accurately clock in and out.\nAddress employee concerns and performance issues within company guidelines, escalating matters to the Owners as needed.\nReport progress, staffing needs, challenges, and next steps to the Owners at the end of each workday. Promptly report all incidents and accidents.\nEstate Auction Preparation & Pickup\nSort and organize household belongings into items to keep, move, sell, donate, or dispose of, treating clients’ possessions with care and respect.\nCreate organized, appealing auction lots and research items as needed to support accurate descriptions and sales opportunities.\nPhotograph lots and review employees’ photos and listings for accuracy, completeness, and presentation on CTBids.\nWork closely with the Auction Review Specialist to coordinate lot edits and description completion, ensuring listings are ready within the project’s timeline.\nPrepare auction pickup reports and organize items and work areas for an efficient pickup day.\nLead auction pickup, coordinate on-site personnel, and address customer service issues as needed.\nFacilitate alternate pickups and support in-person estate sales when applicable.\nRelocation, Clean-Outs & Job-Site Operations\nAssist with packing, moving preparation/management, unpacking, and resettling clients into comfortable, organized living spaces.\nCoordinate donation removal and arrange junk removal as needed.\nOversee final cleanup and ensure each property is left in the condition agreed upon for the project.\nDeliver and retrieve supplies, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.\nKeep job-site supplies organized and equipment properly maintained, notifying the Owners when items need replenishment, repair, or replacement.\nPerform other duties as assigned to support successful project completion.\nQualifications & Skills\nAbility to lead a small team, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities.\nExcellent customer service with clear verbal and written communication.\nCompassion, patience, discretion, and respect when working with seniors, families, and personal belongings.\nComfort using a smartphone to photograph items, conduct research, prepare auction listings, and access project information.\nDependability and the ability to travel between job sites throughout Lutz, Land O’ Lakes, and surrounding service areas.\nLeadership or project coordination experience is strongly preferred.\nExperience with estate sales, auctions, organizing, relocation, or senior services is preferred.\nPhysical & Environmental Requirements\nAbility to lift and carry household items weighing up to 50 pounds, using assistance and appropriate equipment when needed.\nFrequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, packing, and moving household belongings.\nAbility to work in a variety of homes, garages, storage areas, and indoor and outdoor environments, including varying weather conditions.\nAdditional Information\nJob Type: Part-time, project-based, with some weeks up to 40 hours.\nPay Rate: $20-$22 per hour, depending on experience.\nLicense: Driver’s license required.\nWork Authorization: United States work authorization required.\nOvertime: Not typically available.\nWork Locations: Land O' Lakes, Lutz, Spring Hill, San Antonio and Wesley Chapel-depending on the project.
