Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc.). Performs general cleaning and other tasks as assigned.\nJob Responsibilities\nAssist with patch and paint of offices and Lab interior walls as assigned.\n\nAssist with maintaining and monitoring all facilities equipment and amenities.\n\nAssist with repair and maintaining onsite plumbing.\n\nOversees and manages the sites regulated Pest Control Program.\n\nChange of all filters for HVAC as required.\n\nFurniture moves, including office and employee relocations.\n\nCoordinate and manage facilities' vendors.\n\nChange light bulbs, interior and exterior, as assigned.\n\nSet up all offices and conference rooms as assigned.\n\nInspect and maintain outside property,\n\nAssist with all company events as assigned.\n\nOversee Janitor Service with daily trash removal, restocking, cleaning restrooms, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning exterior entryway, etc.\n\nPerforms other work-related duties as assigned.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED\n\nValid driver's license\n\n2 years of building facilities experience.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and general working knowledge of Internet for business use.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with HVAC equipment.\n\nCarpentry skills.\n\nExperience working in a highly regulated environment.\n\nPhysical Demands\nMust possess ability to sit, stand, and/or work at a computer for long periods of time.\n\nMay have exposure to blood-borne pathogens, extreme temperatures, high noise levels, fumes and bio-hazardous material/chemical including formalin in the lab environment.\n\nMust possess ability to perform repetitive motion.\n\nAbility to lift up to 30 pounds.\n\nTraining\nAll job specific, safety, and compliance training are assigned based on the job functions associated with this employee.\n\nOther\nJob may require after-hours response to emergency issues.\n\nPeriodically scheduled on-call may require after-hours response for technical emergencies not explicitly related to assigned job responsibilities.\n\nAt times may be required to work weekends/holidays.\n\nConditions of Employment: Individual must successfully complete pre-employment process, which includes criminal background check, drug screening, credit check( applicable for certain positions) and reference verification.\nThis job description reflects management’s assignment of essential functions.
