Are you a fundraiser who loves connecting with people and bringing campaigns to life? As our Community Fundraising Specialist, you’ll help deliver major campaigns including Project Compassion and emergency appeals, build relationships with community fundraisers, schools and parishes, and support digital fundraising and campaign delivery. This role is covered by the SCHADS award and paid in alignment with level 4 classification.

What does the role involve?

  • You’llplay a key role in delivering Project Compassion, emergency appeals and other community fundraising initiatives, helping grow income, engagementand awareness. You’llbuild relationships with community fundraisers, schoolsand parishes, while supporting campaign strategy, digital fundraising, supporter engagementand campaign delivery.
  • It’sa hands-on role combining relationship management and campaign coordination, with the opportunity to contribute ideas, use supporter insights and help continuously improve our fundraising activities.

This role is based in our Mascot office and will work a hybrid model, including two days in the office per week(Tuesday and Wednesday).

Who are we looking for?

We’relooking for an engaging and proactive fundraiser who enjoys connecting with people and building strong relationships. You’llbe confident reaching out to supporters, comfortable on the phone, and bring strong organisation and communication skills to campaign delivery. Experience with digital fundraising platforms or CRM systems such as Salesforce will be highly regarded.

You’llbring a mix of:

  • Fundraising experience, ideally across campaigns, community fundraisingor events.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Confidence engaging and proactively reaching out to supporters.
  • Good organisation and project coordination skills.
  • SalesForce CRM or digital fundraising platform experience is desirable.
