Do meaningful work and shape the future of building solutions; apply today and come grow with us.\nThe Order Processing Team processes all orders by creating and/or interpreting manufacturing drawings, creating manufacturing instructions, and generating an accurate bill of materials for production to assure accuracy, reduction of scrap and errors, and enabling exceptional customer experience. This role partners with various departments such as engineering, production, sales, customer service, accounting, scheduling, inventory, and shipping.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nFully understand the impact and sources of processing errors and non-conformance issues and take ownership of errors and immediately disclose and correct.\nReview and coordinate manufacturing drawings, interpret blueprints, understand purchase orders, and read quotes to prepare for order processing.\nAssure all bill of materials documents, print approvals, sales orders, and shop drawings/instructions are accurately created for manufacturing.\nDeliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.\nCommunicate interdepartmentally on orders, freight issues, errors, and specific customer needs.\nProvide support to the team as requested/required.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:\nBe proficient in order processing processes, systems, and software programs including PCS, Excel, AutoCAD, SolidEdge and RADAN.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills; effectively be able to communicate verbally and in-writing.\nAbility to solve problems.\nEstablish and maintain cross-functional relationships through excellent communication.\nDemonstrates a continuous improvement mindset through feedback, embracing change, and positive attitude.\nComply with all safety and work rules/regulations.\nWillingness to learn and develop.\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to compare/contrast documentation/materials for accuracy.\nAdvanced mathematical skills with the ability to measure and calculate within 1/64th of an inch.\nStrong computing skills including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.\nEducation and Experience: \nRequired:High School Diploma\nMinimum of two years in a comparable drafting or engineering position.\n\nPreferred:Technical certification or associate’s degree in manufacturing drawing/interpretation, drafting, or engineering.\n\nWorking Conditions:\nExpected work environment: office environment within a manufacturing facility which will expose you to various temperatures and manufacturing noise. PPE will be regularly required for this position. \nTravel minimal (up to 10%)\nSchedule typically 1st shift, Monday through Friday. Flexibility to work overtime.\nThis is a fully onsite position. The employee is expected to be physically present at their designated work location during scheduled hours.
