Trouble shoot and operate packaging equipment in the production operation. Employee will be used to fill in on other jobs in plant as required.\nPay Range: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nOperate propane sit down lift trucks after completing safety check list.\nKnowledge and use of SAPI system\nKnowledge and ability to perform TPM checklists on equipment\nMake labels for each production run and verify correct information is on label.\nOperate and trouble shoot label applicator\nVerify piece counts on each pallet and compare it to label.\nInspect packaging for quality defects.\nTake product off the production line and put away in designated locations in the Warehouse.\nKeep production line clear and running.\nKeep rows straight and leave at least a 2-4 inch distance between pallets.\nOperate glue gun.\nMaterial handling of all products.\nEmpty dumpsters from production floor when needed.\nHousekeeping of plant inside and out.\nSegregate defective product and notify supervisor.\nMaintain 5S in appropriate areas.\nAssist in training new team members.\nFill in other areas of the plant as required\nRequired Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:\nKnowledge and certification of forklift operations. \nKnowledge of entire warehouse layout, product codes, batch numbers. \nComplete understanding of entire production schedule. \nKnowledge and certified in LOTO program\nAbility to identify possible quality defects. \nKnowledge of labels, piece count etc.\nKnowledge of safety aspects of all equipment operated as well as the plant’s general safety policies. \nUnderstanding the impact of sending incorrect/defective products. \nAbility to operate mobile equipment safely\nCompetencies:\nTeamworkBuilds trust with others by encouraging open dialogue and collaboration.
