Maintain warehouse organization and assist in performing cycle counts. Employee will be used to fill in on other jobs in plant as required.\nPay Rate: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nDaily inspections and operation of propane sit down lift trucks. \nPick order and stage orders. \nPut together partials per customer order. \nInspect material for quality defects. \nLoad material on flat bed or box trucks. \nInspect to see if proper material is loaded on truck. \nFill out all paperwork associated with order and/or scan material. \nMaterial handling of all products. \nUnderstand proper radio procedures and use\nHousekeeping of plant inside and out. \nScrap out, and/or segregate defective product and properly report. \nPerform random inventory counts and end of month inventories. \nAssist in training of new team members. \nFill in on other areas of the plant as required. (Ex. Line driver, production line, etc.) \nOccasional tarping of loads. \nAny other duties assigned by supervisor. \nRequired Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:\nKnowledge and certification of forklift operations. \nKnowledge of entire warehouse layout, product codes, batch numbers. \nComplete understanding of entire shipping order. \nBasic knowledge of tractor-trailers, air hoses, brakes etc. \nAbility to identify possible quality defects. \nAbility to identify possible defects on trailers and yard tractor. \nKnowledge of safety aspects of all equipment operated as well as the plant’s general safety policies. \nUnderstanding the impact of sending incorrect/defective products. \nAbility to operate mobile equipment safely.\nCompetencies:\nTeamworkBuilds trust with others by encouraging open dialogue and collaboration.
