The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP Cloud Integration (CPI) and proven expertise integrating SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP Sales and Service Cloud, SAP CPQ, SAP Commerce Cloud, Salesforce, and custom applications built using Java and .NET frameworks.\nThe candidate should have strong knowledge of integration development, middleware patterns, error handling, monitoring, performance optimization, automated testing, and enterprise integration best practices.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable, secure, and reusable integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI).\nDevelop and maintain end-to-end integrations between:SAP ECC\nSAP S/4HANA\nSAP Sales and Service Cloud\nSAP CPQ\nSAP Commerce Cloud\nSalesforce\nJava-based applications\n.NET-based applications\nOther third-party and custom enterprise applications\n\nAnalyze integration requirements and translate functional specifications into technical integration solutions.\nImplement integration patterns including synchronous, asynchronous, request/reply, publish/subscribe, batch, and event-driven integrations.\nDevelop integrations using protocols and adapters such as:REST\nHTTP/HTTPS\nOData\nIDoc\nSOAP\nSFTP/FTP\nJDBC/database connectivity\nOther relevant SAP BTP/CPI adapters\n\nDevelop and maintain reusable integration components, templates, mappings, and common utilities.\nCreate and maintain Groovy scripts for custom data transformation, message processing, validation, routing, exception handling, and other integration requirements.\nConfigure and maintain Value Mappings and other reusable CPI artifacts.\nImplement complex message mappings, transformations, routing, filtering, enrichment, and content modification.\nConfigure authentication and connectivity using appropriate security mechanisms, including OAuth, certificates, basic authentication, and API keys.\nPerform unit testing, defect resolution, deployment, and post-deployment validation for integration flows.\nPrepare technical documentation, interface specifications, mapping documents, test cases, and operational support documentation.\nCollaborate with functional teams, application teams, business stakeholders, and support teams throughout the integration lifecycle.\nIntegration Error Handling & Monitoring:\nDevelop and configure integration error-handling solutions in SAP CPI.\nImplement mechanisms such as:Retry processing\nAutomatic retries with configurable policies\nException subprocesses\nDead Letter Queue (DLQ) patterns\nFailed-message reprocessing\nError categorization and routing\nAlerting and notification mechanisms\n\nConfigure and maintain monitoring dashboards to provide visibility into:Successful and failed messages\nIntegration volumes\nProcessing times\nError trends\nRetry counts\nDLQ messages\nInterface health and availability\n\nMonitor production integrations, investigate failures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.\nSupport incident resolution, problem management, and continuous improvement of integration solutions.\nMaintain appropriate logging and monitoring while ensuring sensitive data is handled securely.\nTesting & Performance:\nDevelop comprehensive integration test cases covering positive, negative, boundary, and exception scenarios.\nExecute unit testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and end-to-end integration testing.\nPrepare test data and validate message payloads, mappings, routing, transformations, and error scenarios.\nPerform integration performance and load testing.\nAnalyze integration performance bottlenecks and optimize CPI iFlows, mappings, Groovy scripts, API calls, and backend interactions.\nValidate throughput, latency, scalability, and reliability of integration flows.\nResolve defects identified during testing and production support.\nSupport deployment activities across development, quality assurance, and production environments.\nRequired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:\nDeep working knowledge of SAP BTP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI), including iFlow design, deployment, and lifecycle management.\nSkilled in Groovy scripting for data transformation, message processing, validation, routing, and exception handling.\nSkilled in building complex message mappings, value mappings, and reusable integration components and utilities.\nWorking knowledge of REST, OData, SOAP, IDoc, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/SFTP, JDBC, JSON, and XML.\nKnowledge of enterprise integration patterns, including synchronous, asynchronous, request/reply, publish/subscribe, batch, and event-driven designs.\nKnowledge of API security and authentication methods, including OAuth, certificates, basic authentication, and API keys.\nAbility to design integration error handling -
