Do meaningful work and shape the future of building solutions; apply today and come grow with us.\n The Senior Site EHS Manager will oversee the overall implementation of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs within Plant 4 operations. The position is responsible for managing all EHS programs within Plant 4 to prevent injuries and health impairments, maintain environmental compliance, and collaborate with Plant 4 leadership, and business unit EHS manager to prevent, investigate, and resolve environmental, health, and safety issues.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nRegular strategic communication with Plant 4 leadership, and divisional Manager of EH&S.\nEnsure execution of all environmental compliance aspects for Plant 4.\nAssist plant manager in strategic planning which includes leading/lagging safety data analysis and problem solving. \nActs as a behavior-based safety coach and mentor to site leadership teams and associates regarding safety tools, concepts, and mindset\nAssist plant manager in facilitation of business unit safety calls.\nWork side by side with site EHS coordinators, departmental managers implementing and maintaining site-specific integrated safety plans, EHS standard work and other Carlisle safety programs.\nConduct comprehensive safety standard work assessments, PPE assessments, ergonomic assessments, and policy audits.\nManage/execute targeted environmental, health and safety projects within Plant 4.\nAttend required management team meetings and safety committees.\nPrepare, implement, and execute safety training, on-boarding, mentoring, and associate BBS observations. \nServe as primary advisor regarding all safety issues for site leadership team, supervisors, local safety committees and hourly associates.\nMaintain close contact with local government and members of the local safety communities.\nMaintain company compliance with all appropriate OSHA and state safety regulations, maintain appropriate reporting (such as OSHA 300 logs), and site-specific integrated safety plans.\nParticipate in industry and professional interest groups to stay current on trends, issues, and technological innovation.\nLead, track, and review all site level incident problem solving for complete root causes, trends, corrective action completion.\nManage execution of Carlisle wide and/or Business Unit read-across items.\nParticipate in the strategic planning of manufacturing process and facility modifications to ensure that potential environmental and safety related consequences are considered.\nManage the completion of EHS tasks utilizing EHS digital platform (Gensuite).\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:\nAbility to forge the right relationships with associates, regulatory officials, and corporate executives to communicate the company’s safety and environmental health policies and accomplishments.\nStrong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.\nAbility to build consensus and positively influence a diverse group of co-workers without direct control.\nBasic environmental compliance preferred but not required, must have willingness to expand current knowledge to include other topics.\nMust have demeanor such that facilities view role as help to their safety system.\nUnderstanding of behavioral based safety processes.\nFluency in Microsoft Office programs.\nEducation and Experience: \nRequired:Bachelor’s degree in related field\nMinimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in a health and safety management role in a manufacturing or processing environment preferred. \nEHS related certification by a professional EHS association preferred (CSP, CIH).\nMulti-site EHS program management preferred \n\nWorking Conditions:\nManufacturing Plant environment where the plants may be dirt, dusty, and hotter/colder than office settings.\nOccasional overtime or weekends required.\nStandard hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with possible overtime and weekend work as business needs require.\n Our Culture & Values\nAt Carlisle, our culture is grounded in a shared commitment to our core values: Start with Safety, Focus on Customers, Act with Integrity, Pursue Excellence, Better Every Day, Drive Innovation, and Deliver Results.
