The Junior Salesforce Developer will help build scalable, secure, and user-centered solutions that support student enrollment, academic operations, reporting, and institutional workflows.\nExperience in the education sector is preferred but not required.\nKey Responsibilities\nSalesforce Development & Configuration\nAssist in designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce applications within Education Cloud.\nBuild and modify:Custom objects, fields, validation rules\nFlows (Record-Triggered, Screen Flows)\nApproval processes\nPage layouts and Lightning record pages\n\nSupport Apex development (under supervision):Apex classes and triggers\nTest classes and code coverage\n\nDevelop and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC) as needed.\nSIS & Academic Workflow Support\nSupport development of modules related to:Student data management\nAdmissions and enrollment workflows\nCourse scheduling and registration\nAttendance and grading processes\n\nAssist in ensuring FERPA-aligned data security and role-based access controls.\nReporting & Data Management\nBuild and maintain reports and dashboards for academic and operational stakeholders.\nSupport data imports, exports, and data quality validation.\nAssist in maintaining data integrity across integrated systems.\nIntegration & Collaboration\nSupport API integrations with third-party systems (LMS, assessment tools, payment systems, etc.).\nWork collaboratively with:Business Analyst (requirements clarification)\nSILS team (functional validation)\nSystems team (security and infrastructure alignment)\nExternal Salesforce implementation partners\n\nParticipate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and solution design discussions.\nQuality Assurance & Documentation\nWrite and maintain technical documentation.\nSupport UAT testing cycles.\nAssist in release management and deployment processes.\nFollow version control and change management best practices.\nRequired Qualifications\n1-3 years of experience working with Salesforce (internship or entry-level acceptable).\nSalesforce Administrator Certification (required or must obtain within 6 months of hire).\nFoundational knowledge of:Apex\nSOQL\nLightning Experience\nFlow Builder\n\nBasic understanding of relational data models.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutions.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Salesforce Education Cloud.\nPrior work in K-12, adult education, higher education, or nonprofit environments.\nSalesforce Platform Developer I Certification.\nExperience with:Lightning Web Components (LWC)\nREST/SOAP APIs\nData migration tools (Data Loader, ETL tools)\n\nUnderstanding of data privacy frameworks (FERPA preferred). \nDeep commitment to CRIPCS's core values and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) and ability to model those values in relationships with colleagues and partners.\nMust be able to provide proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination\nTo ensure that you understand the school’s commitment to our work and the expectations of all school community members in advancing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging work.
