As these two historical businesses have come together, the one common goal remains, and that is ensuring our people succeed.\nAbout the role:\nCarlsberg Britvic is looking for a proactive and organised Accounts Payable Administrator to join our Shared Services Finance team in Solihull on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for an individual with strong administrative and customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality support to suppliers and internal stakeholders.\nThe successful candidate will support the Accounts Payable function in ensuring invoices are processed accurately, supplier queries are resolved promptly, and financial controls and company policies are adhered to at all times.\nRole Responsibilities:\nProcess supplier invoices accurately and efficiently within agreed service levels.\nValidate invoice information and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.\nMonitor invoice workflow queues and resolve processing exceptions.\nSupport the matching of invoices to purchase orders and goods receipts where applicable.\nRespond to supplier and internal customer queries via email and telephone.\nManage shared Accounts Payable mailboxes and ensure timely responses.\nInvestigate and resolve invoice, payment and account discrepancies.\nBuild positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.\nAssist with supplier statement reconciliations.\nSupport month-end activities and reporting requirements.\nMaintain accurate records and audit trails.\nEnsure adherence to internal controls, compliance requirements and financial policies. This aligns with the importance Carlsberg Britvic places on AP controls, supplier management and audit readiness. \nSupport data cleansing, reporting and process improvement activities.\nAssist with AP projects and operational initiatives as required.\nComplete routine administrative tasks to support the wider AP team.\nExperience and Key Attributes:\nEssential\nPrevious administrative experience, preferably within Finance or Accounts Payable.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nGood communication and customer service skills.\nAbility to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.\nCompetent in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a team. \nPositive and professional attitude.\nStrong organisational skills.\nProblem-solving mindset.\nWillingness to learn and adapt.\nTeam player who actively supports colleagues.\nCommitment to continuous improvement and delivering excellent service.\nDesirable\nPrevious Accounts Payable experience.\nExperience using SAP, Ariba, VIM or other ERP systems.\nExperience working within a Shared Services environment.\nUnderstanding of purchase-to-pay processes and supplier management.\nThis is an exciting time to join our newly formed business - with their incredible individual history’s, innovation of products and some of the UK’s most iconic brands, Carlsberg Britvic strives to deliver the best service to our customers and consumers.
