In this role, you will oversee financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, standard costing, CAPEX and management reporting, providing actionable insights to support strategic business decisions. You will also lead finance transformation initiatives, strengthen financial governance and data quality, and drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, improve cost competitiveness and deliver sustainable business value.\nIf you enjoy working closely with the business, influencing decisions through financial insights, and contributing to impactful outcomes, we would love to hear from you.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nLead and develop the Supply Chain Controlling team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on business impact and continuous improvement.\nPartner with Supply Chain leaders to provide strategic financial insights, identify risks and opportunities, and drive informed business decisions.\nOversee financial planning and performance management, including budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, KPI dashboards and variance analysis.\nLead standard costing, COGS forecasting and cost analysis across manufacturing, logistics and other Supply Chain operations.\nManage the end-to-end CAPEX process, including investment evaluations, financial justifications and post-investment reviews.\nDrive financial governance and data integrity, including master data accuracy, fixed asset management and inventory control.\nOversee month-end closing, financial reporting and audit activities, ensuring compliance with internal controls and reporting requirements.\nDrive finance transformation and process improvements, including automation, data quality enhancement and smarter ways of working.\nCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen cost competitiveness, improve operational efficiency and deliver sustainable business performance.\nProvide technical expertise and support ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required.\nWhat we’re looking for\nA strong business partnering mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and influence decision-making.\nAstrong analytical and problem-solving capability, with high attention to detail and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.\nA strong communicator who can clearly present financial insights and provide recommendations to support business performance.\nA solid understanding of financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.\nA strong knowledge of cost controlling and cost analysis, particularly in COGS, logistics and overheads.\nA good understanding of standard costing, inventory management and fixed asset control.\nA capability in CAPEX analysis, financial modelling and investment evaluation.\nAhigh proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel and advanced data analysis tools.\nA working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP would be an added advantage.\nA proven ability to lead and develop a team, driving accountability, performance and continuous improvement.\nA proactive and commercially minded approach to identifying cost-saving opportunities, improving processes and driving business performance.\nWhat you can expect\nAn organisation that invests in your growth and empowers you to excel.\nWe consciously create an environment that genuinely focuses on developing our people -through coaching.\nWe empower individuals to take ownership, make decisions, and learn from both successes and challenges. Your ideas, courage to challenge the status quo, and passion for our consumer will be recognized and appreciated.\nRequirements:\n Degree or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance, with mandatory membership in the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) or another recognized professional accounting body.\nMinimum 6-8 years of relevant experience in financial controlling, management accounting or FP&A, preferably in a manufacturing or Supply Chain environment.\nSolid understanding of financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cost controlling and standard costing.\nGood knowledge of COGS, logistics costs, CAPEX, inventory management and fixed asset control.\nHigh proficiency in Microsoft Excel, spreadsheet design, financial modelling and data analysis.\nExperience with SAP and advanced data analysis tools.\n Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP is an added advantage.\nStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information and insights clearly and concisely.\nAbility to lead projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives and continuous improvement.\nStrong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage effectively with employees across all levels and departments.\nDetail-oriented and analytical mindset, with strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to identify risks, opportunities and improvement areas.\nHigh level of professional integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial and business information.\nGood command of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.\nUnderstanding of financial reporting requirements and internal controls.
