As the Dynamic, Multi-Beverage Powerhouse, we are united by a single, consistent goal: ensuring our people thrive.\nAbout the role:\nWe are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Credit Controller who will be responsible for following the company's credit policies and procedures, ensuring persistent debt collection and dunning, dispute analysis and resolution, minimising bad debt exposure and maintaining positive relationships with customers. The role supports healthy cash flow and contributes to the overall financial stability of the business.\nRole Responsibilities:\nReconcile customer accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve invoice, payment, and account queries in a timely manner.\nWork collaboratively with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy and resolve customer issues efficiently.\nManage and follow up on customer disputes, escalating complex cases where appropriate to achieve prompt resolution.\nReview and monitor customer orders on hold due to credit or payment issues, taking appropriate action to facilitate order release.\nLiaise with the Risk team to assess customer credit limits, monitor payment performance, and support informed credit decisions.\nCommunicate proactively with Sales and Commercial teams regarding held orders and any actions required to enable order release.\nProduce and maintain weekly aged debt reports, providing accurate insight into outstanding balances and collection performance.\nKeep management informed of high-risk accounts, overdue debt, and ongoing collection activities.\nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with customers, promoting positive engagement while ensuring compliance with agreed credit terms.\nCollaborate closely with Sales, Commercial, Customer Service, Finance, and Risk teams to support effective credit control processes and deliver an excellent customer experience.\nExperience and Key Attributes:\nPrevious experience in a Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, or Finance role.\nStrong understanding of credit control processes, debt collection, account reconciliation, and dispute resolution.\nExcellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build positive customer relationships and manage challenging conversations professionally.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.\nExcellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.\nAbility to work collaboratively with Sales, Commercial, Customer Service, Finance, and Risk teams.\nExperience using SAP would be advantageous.\nKnowledge of legal debt recovery procedures would be beneficial.\nAAT, CICM, or another relevant finance qualification is desirable.\nExperience producing aged debt reports and analysing customer payment performance would be an advantage.\nOur commitment to diversity equity & inclusion\nWe welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences - including those of different races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, ages, abilities, religions, and socioeconomic statuses.
