As these two historical businesses have come together, the one common goal remains, and that is ensuring our people succeed.\nAbout the role\nWe’re looking for a passionate and engaging Learning & Development professional to join our team and help create great learning experiences for our people.\nThis is an exciting opportunity for someone who has already gained some hands-on experience in training delivery and learning design and is ready to take the next step in their L&D career.\nYou’ll have a particular focus on delivering soft-skills and management development training, helping our mid-level managers build their confidence and capability, as well as leading our induction experience for new starters.\nWorking closely with our L&D Lead and colleagues across the business, you’ll gain exposure to a broad range of learning activities while developing your own L&D skills and experience.\nWe’re looking for someone who is confident in front of a group, enjoys creating engaging learning experiences and is genuinely interested in helping people develop. We’re looking for someone with a good foundation of training experience who is keen to learn, develop and broaden their experience.\nThis is a hybrid, field-based role, with 3 days office/site based.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nTraining delivery & facilitation\nDeliver engaging development training, with a particular focus on supporting our mid-level managers.\nLead and continually improve our new-starter induction experience, helping new colleagues feel welcomed, informed and connected from day one.\nFacilitate existing learning programmes and workshops.\nDeliver learning through a variety of formats, including face-to-face, virtual and blended learning.\nCreate an inclusive and engaging learning environment where people feel comfortable participating, asking questions and sharing ideas.\nLearning design & content\nDesign and develop engaging learning materials, presentations, activities, guides and other learning resources.\nWork with subject matter experts and colleagues to create practical and relevant learning content.\nApply your understanding of how adults learn to create engaging learning experiences.\nReview and update existing learning materials to keep them relevant and effective.\nWorking with others & continuous improvement\nBuild positive and collaborative relationships with employees, managers and colleagues across HR and the wider business.\nWork with different areas of the business to understand their learning needs and provide appropriate support.\nGather feedback from learners and stakeholders and use this to help improve our learning programmes and learner experience.\nCommunicate learning opportunities clearly and in an engaging way.\nWork with external training providers when required, with support from the L&D Lead.\nBring your ideas and perspective to help us continually improve our learning offering.\nSupport a range of L&D projects and initiatives, gaining experience across different areas of the function.\nWhat we’re looking for\nWe’re looking for someone who already has practical experience of delivering training and is excited about continuing to develop their career in Learning & Development.\nEssential experience & skills\nExperience of delivering training, ideally including soft-skills, people or management development.\nSome experience of designing learning or training materials, such as presentations, activities, guides or other learning resources.\nA confident, engaging and approachable facilitation style, with the ability to adapt your approach to different audiences.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.\nA genuine interest in helping people learn, develop and succeed.\nGood planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage different activities and priorities.\nConfident IT skills, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.\nA positive and proactive approach, with a willingness to learn, ask questions and develop your skills.\nA collaborative approach and the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues across the business.\nExperience working in an FMCG, manufacturing or retail environment.\nExperience using digital learning or content development platforms.\nExperience delivering management training.\nQualifications\nA relevant qualification or professional development in Learning & Development, training, coaching or a related area would be advantageous, but isn’t essential.\nFor example, CIPD, coaching or other relevant L&D qualifications would be welcomed.\nAbove all, we’re looking for someone with practical training experience who is enthusiastic about learning, developing their L&D skills and making a positive difference to our people.\nApplication Process:\nWe read applications continuously, and vacancies may be filled anytime, so please apply as early as possible.\nWe look forward to receiving your application.\nThis is an exciting time to join our newly formed business - with their incredible individual history’s, innovation of products and some of the UK’s most iconic brands, Carlsberg Britvic strives to deliver the best service to our customers and consumers.
