As a digital pre-owned car dealership, we’re turning the car buying experience into a hassle-free, seamless journey that customers can truly enjoy. With our diverse and collaborative team managing everything from engineering to marketing and buying to reconditioning in-house, we’re powered by the best people and we’d love for you to come along for the ride.\n\nOur Logistics Senior Lead role isn't about moving cars from A to B-you’ll own the end-to-end performance of vehicle flow across our entire production system. This is a high-impact operational role where you’ll coordinate how vehicles move into and through Carma, managing on site vehicle movements, site transfers and fleet allocation to balance dynamic demand across teams.\nYou’ll be based at our Granville site where you will lead and empower a newly formed team and truck fleet, tracking movement metrics to set performance baselines with precision, consistency, and speed. From ensuring strict compliance with Chain of Responsibility and WHS standards to applying a sharp continuous improvement mindset, you will eliminate bottlenecks and optimise workflows so every vehicle moves through the Carma system at maximum efficiency.\nWhat you'll be doing?\n\nScheduling & movement flow: Act as the operational lead for Logistics-owning the calendar, rostering, and allocation for internal and external fleets across Sydney metro to maximize truck efficiency and hit throughput targets.\nRoot cause resolution: Monitor daily operations to spot disruptions early and investigate the underlying operational breaks rather than treating surface-level symptoms.\nProcess & continuous improvement: Interpret movement data and operational reports to refine work methods, eliminate waste, and elevate turnaround performance in line with Carma’s guidelines.\n Fleet, safety & compliance: Maintain high standards across the fleet by enforcing pre-start checks, scheduled maintenance, WHS guidelines, and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) practices.\nHigh-performance leadership: Lead, roster, and grow the onsite and driver team-managing day-to-day admin, building capability through feedback, and setting clear expectations for peak performance.\n Cross-departmental alignment: Manage dynamic vehicle demand across Buying, Sales, Wholesale, and Operations, hosting regular standups and team meetings to stay aligned on shifting needs.\nOkay, let’s talk about you:\nProven experience leading teams in a fast-paced production or automotive environment\nAbility to drive performance through people, not just manage tasks\nStrong capability in setting expectations, holding standards, and addressing underperformance\nExperience building team capability to improve output, quality and flow\nConfidence operating on the floor - engaging, directing and supporting teams in real time\nStrong problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying root causes\nExposure to lean / continuous improvement environments (highly regarded)\nAbility to prioritise and adapt in a high-output, fast-changing environment\nWorking knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management, mass and load restraint (TLIF0009 or willingness to complete)\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality standards\nValid NSW Driver’s Licence\n\nWhat's in it for you?\nWe wouldn’t be a car business if we didn’t give you some $$ off our Carma cars, parts and NRMA cover.\nJoin our high-performing, forward-thinking team and help shake up car buying in Australia.\nJoin a team that values quality as much as quantity - we believe in working hard, having fun and delivering an exceptional product.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3705,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Logistics","Automotive Manufacturing","Online Classifieds"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-09T06:31:21Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":30,"band":"fade","label":"Fading","p_open":1,"p_active":0.657,"p_room":0.45,"age_days":20,"expected_fill_days":12,"reasons":["conf:1","win:tail"],"computed_at":"2026-10-29T05:49:05Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/carma-logistics-senior-lead","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/carma-logistics-senior-lead.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-29T22:06:38Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":32640,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-30T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":66112},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=66112"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fcarma-logistics-senior-lead"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fcarma-logistics-senior-lead"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fcarma-logistics-senior-lead"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/carma-logistics-senior-lead\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fcarma-logistics-senior-lead"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":2155344}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"carma.com.au","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":2155344},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people); https://alion.io/mcp with an Alion account has everything.
