Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our IT team in Malta.

In this role, you’ll manage the end-to-end delivery of technical projects, working closely with Development, Product, Design, and QA teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards.

You'll play a key role in coordinating teams, managing timelines, resolving challenges, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle.

Role & Responsibilities

-Manage the end-to-end delivery of technical projects, from initial kickoff through development, testing, and release, ensuring projects meet agreed timelines, scope, and quality standards.

-Plan and coordinate project stages, milestones, deadlines, and deliverables, using structured delivery processes and Agile practices where appropriate.

-Lead project kickoffs, confirm requirements and acceptance criteria, and manage scope changes through a formal change-request process.

-Collaborate closely with developers, Product, Design, QA, and technical stakeholders to manage dependencies, resolve blockers, and ensure smooth project execution.

-Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and proactively recommend solutions to keep delivery on track.

-Provide regular project updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders, maintaining accurate documentation and reporting through project management tools.

-Coordinate release readiness, ensuring deliverables meet agreed requirements, quality standards, and launch communication expectations.

-Ensure project delivery considers information security, data protection, GDPR, and internal IT governance requirements.

-Continuously improve project management processes, documentation, reporting, and delivery practices to enhance efficiency and transparency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT project management, technical project management, or technical delivery management.
  • Proven experience successfully delivering software development projects, system integrations, platforms, or other technical initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, release management, and change-control processes.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams, including developers, QA, Design, Product, and business stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools such as ClickUp, Jira, or equivalent platforms.
  • Good technical understanding of APIs, system integrations, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and web/application architecture.
  • Ability to understand technical requirements, review project dependencies, and assess development timelines and deliverables.
