As our WHS Manager, you’ll own our Workplace Health & Safety system across all sites, coordinate contractors, oversee facilities, and make sure everything runs safely and smoothly. This is a hands-on, strategic role- you’ll be optimising systems, tracking performance, and helping Carma grow while keeping people safe.\nWhat you'll be doing:\n\nOwn, run, and continuously improve Carma’s WHS system- audits, inspections, incident investigations, toolbox talks, and inductions\nManage incident reporting, injury management, and return-to-work processes\nDeliver WHS training for employees and contractors, and ensure all processes are followed before work starts\nCoordinate contractors onsite- making sure work gets done safely and efficiently\nOversee facilities, including preventative maintenance schedules, repairs, service contracts, and capex/vendor projects\nConduct daily, weekly, and monthly site inspections- keeping all sites compliant and operational\nTrack, report, and optimise WHS metrics and dashboards\nJump into projects, relocations, expansions, and upgrades as required\nPartner with team leaders to embed a proactive safety culture and identify gaps for improvement\n\nOkay, let's talk about you:\n\n3+ years’ experience in WHS within warehouse, manufacturing, industrial, or production environments\nSolid knowledge of Australian WHS legislation - Safe Work Australia, NSW WHS Act 2011, and compliance frameworks\nExperienced managing contractors and external service providers\nStrategic thinker who’s also hands-on and practical - you’re happy to roll up sleeves and get stuck in\nComfortable owning systems, optimising processes, and driving continuous improvement\nGreat communicator and stakeholder manager - you build relationships, influence teams, and get things done\nBonus if you’ve got any formal qualifications or training to support WHS\n\nWhat's in it for you?\n\nJump into a fast growing, collaborative crew where your ideas actually make waves!\nOur open plan office comes fuelled with fresh coffee, a snack stash for any craving, and Friday rooftop drinks to keep your energy in the fast lane!\nSweet perks because, well, we’re a car business so $$ off Carma cars, parts, and NRMA cover to rev up your ride!\nAt Carma, we’re all about fostering an amazing culture, where you can bring your best self to work!
