This position directs and manages the strategic planning, software development, implementation, administration and maintenance for a large suite of application systems and solutions.\nThis includes development of long and short-term technology solutions that address business goals and deliver improved profitability, efficiency and an unrivaled customer experience. The position partners with the following business areas: Accounting & Finance, Compensation, HR, Legal, Payroll, Procurement, Recruiting and Training & Development.\nABOUT THIS JOB:\nThe Technology Director will lead the technology strategy and execution for the E2E engagement program. This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of technology solutions that enhance the company's digital communication (SMS, Email, Push Notification) and Associate engagement (phone, webchat, SMS) utilizing AI, CRM/SF, Marketing Communication platform (SFMC) and more. The Technology Director will collaborate with technology and operation teams to deliver successful retail experiences\nKey Responsibilities:\nPractice & Execution:\nLead the discovery and execution of technology products.\nImplement effective interaction design and define product personas. \nEnsure the technical feasibility of potential solutions in collaboration with engineers. \nPriorities & Outcomes:\nBe accountable for experience outcomes and develop a learning agenda with input from the Product Manager. \nManage stakeholder and partner expectations. \nCommunication & Collaboration:\nDrive technology discovery and communicate art of possible. \nDevelop tech artifacts to articulate, inform, and validate ideas with consumers and stakeholders. \nCollaborate with tech managers and engineers to ensure the technical feasibility of solutions.\nVision & Strategy:\nLead the overall technical direction of the team. \nOversee the technical discovery process. \nMaintain the architecture within the specific product, with support from the Solution Architect. \nQualifications:\nBA/BS Degree required. Master’s Degree a plus\n10+ years of experience in Information Technology with 7+ years of application systems development and implementation\n5+ years’ experience managing direct reports\nProven experience in leading technology projects and teams. \nStrong understanding of interaction design and product personas. \nExcellent communication and collaboration skills. \nAbility to manage stakeholder expectations and deliver on experience outcomes. \nExperience in developing and implementing technology strategies. \nPreferred Skills:\nExperience with emerging technology, commercial solution and custom development to build efficient and effective technology solution \nKnowledge of modern design principles and improved navigation techniques. \nIf you think this is you, let us know and apply!\nWork Location and Arrangement: This role will be based out of the Richmond Midtown or Plano Tech hub and have a Hybrid work arrangement.\nAssociates based in Richmond work on-site 4 days per week.\nAssociates based in Plano work onsite 2 days per week\nWork Authorization: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
