Whether you’re advancing your career or growing your skillset, we are here to drive you forward.\nRole Responsibilities\nMaintain daily inventory appearance and security while ensuring vehicle zones and parking areas remain organized and optimized for smooth operations.\nDocument and track incoming and outgoing inventory through shipping and receiving processes to support accurate, transparent vehicle records.\nReceive, prepare, and process vehicles-including pairing locators, capturing photos, and securing keys-to ensure readiness for sale or auction.\nSupport auction operations by assisting with preparation, coordination, and execution activities that enable a seamless experience.\nContribute to new associate training by sharing best practices and reinforcing safety and operational standards.\nComplete daily inventory scanning and reconciliation to ensure accurate, real-time visibility of site inventory.\nFollow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.\nRequired Qualifications\nAbility to read, interpret, and enter data accurately to maintain reliable inventory records.\nDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with associates across multiple departments.\nStrong multitasking skills with the ability to perform in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.\nSolid inventory management awareness with the willingness to learn and strengthen operational skills.\nCommitment to completing all CarMax-provided training and following established wholesale and inventory procedures.\nHigh School diploma or equivalent work experience.\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs., work flexible schedules-including nights, weekends, and holidays-and operate in outdoor environments, including inclement weather, while wearing required CarMax apparel.\nAbout CarMax\nAt CarMax, we revolutionized the used car buying experience over 30 years ago by introducing transparency and integrity into the process.
