This role is responsible for supervising AP staff, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing and payments, maintaining strong internal controls, and driving continuous process improvements.\nThe ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts payable best practices, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders across the organization.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupervise and support the Accounts Payable team, including training, coaching, and performance management.\nOversee the full accounts payable cycle and contributions to the Procure to Pay process.\nEnsure timely and accurate payment of invoices in accordance with company policies and vendor terms.\nMonitor AP workloads and prioritize activities to meet established service levels and deadlines.\nOversee the month-end account reconciliations related to accounts payable.\nMaintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements.\nServe as the primary escalation point for complex invoice discrepancies and vendor issues.\nDevelop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and internal business partners.\nAnalyze AP processes and identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and cost savings.\nAssist with annual audits and provide supporting documentation as requested.\nPrepare AP reports and KPIs for management review.\nQualifications\nRequired\n5+ years of Accounts Payable or accounting experience.\n2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.\nStrong understanding of AP processes, internal controls, and financial systems.\nProficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite and ERP accounting systems.\nExcellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and interpersonal abilities.\nPreferred\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.\nExperience with SAP or other major ERP systems.\nKnowledge of 1099 reporting requirements and sales/use tax concepts.\nContinuous improvement or process automation experience.\nProfessional certifications or related credentials are a plus.\nKey Competencies\nLeadership and team development\nTime management and prioritization\nEffective communication skills\nAccounts payable expertise\nProcess improvement and automation\nVendor relationship management\nInternal controls and compliance\nFinancial analysis and reporting\nAttention to detail\nBenefits & Compensation:\nAnnual Base Salary Range of $88,000 -
