This includes planning the necessary resources in manpower and budgeting to accomplish site safety goals in the PaSSEand SHARP plans\n\nInterface with MSHA/MOL and other governing health and safety agencies at local and federal level as required\n\nFollow up investigations working with Safety Committee, and others as needed or applicable\n\nParticipate in the daily morning production meeting to communicate with production and maintenance\n\nPreparation and implementation of training plans to provide employees with the necessary training to perform their job safely and effectively\n\nEnsure the Management System is effective and well understood by all employees\n\nActively participate in the weekly scheduling meeting between maintenance and production\n\nA good understanding of the maintenance modules under the CMMS/SAP system\n\nEnsures correct, accurate, and timely reporting of information on all maintenance Work Orders, including “Urgent Repairs”\n\nEnsure maintenance personnel perform good quality work\n\nEnsure the execution of the daily maintenance plan\n\nOversee necessary arrangements to keep plant running during breakdowns\n\nRoutinely monitor key performance indicators identifying opportunities for improvement and making appropriate supervisory and management personnel aware of the findings\n\nProvide feedback to the maintenance team on goals and expectations status\n\nInitiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels\n\nLead the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) program to improve reliability and reduce maintenance costs\n\nKey performance indicators\nMeets or exceeds safety, environment and legislation regulations and laws\n\nMeet budget and Inventory goals\n\nKiln Reliability - 98%\n\nMeet or exceed agreed goals and targets on a consistent basis\n\nSuccessfully coordinates maintenance functions requirements with contractors\n\nBasic requirements (Education, Level of Experience, Language)\nRelated Engineering Bachelor Degree, or Master’s Degreeis preferred\n\nMinimum 10+ years’ experience progressive experience in mining or heavy engineering industry\n\nExtensive knowledge and background in operations supply chain business processes, extensive knowledge of continuous manufacturing and production processes, knowledge and experience working contemporary concepts of continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing\n\nDemonstrated competency in preventative, predictive, basic care practices, and computerized maintenance management systems; strong management and Total Productive Maintenance experience; Six Sigma training is a plus\n\nProven in leading operational excellence through applying behaviour basedmanagement\n\nPrior experience demonstrating effective management skills\n\nDemonstrable team workand maturity with a strong work ethic\n\nFluency in spoken and written English\n\nNeeded Knowledge and Skills (Technical knowledge required by the position)\nKnowledge\nKnowledge of people management skills\n\nExperience in mining and/or heavy engineering industry\n\nKnowledge of continuous manufacturing business sector\n\nTechnical creditability as it relates to industry, with a preference on mining and kilns\n\nSkills\nDemonstrated ability to assess organizational and people issues, provide coaching and mentoring, and deliver solutions that improve facility performance\n\nDemonstrated ability to take initiative, strong organization and prioritization skills\n\nDemonstrates the ability to apply appropriate conflict management strategies to ensure conflicts are resolved to the benefit of all parties\n\nEstablishes and maintains highly productive working relationships across the organization with all groups within the region and the company;
