crushing, conveying, screening, material handling, and associated plant equipment.\n\nCoordinate corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability.\n\nAssign and prioritize work orders based on operational requirements and maintenance needs.\n\nMonitor equipment performance and work with operations to identify improvement opportunities.\n\nEnsure high-quality workmanship and adherence to maintenance standards.\n\nWorkforce Leadership\nDirect and supervise union maintenance employees on day and night shifts.\n\nManage employee performance through coaching, training, and accountability.\n\nAdminister applicable provisions of the collective bargaining agreement.\n\nParticipate in grievance meetings, investigations, and labor-management discussions as required.\n\nCoordinate manpower and shift coverage to meet business needs.\n\nFoster positive labor relations through fair and consistent leadership practices.\n\nPlanning and Reliability\nPartner with operations team to develop weekly and outage maintenance schedules.\n\nDrive preventive and predictive maintenance programs.\n\nAnalyze equipment failures and identify root causes.\n\nSupport capital improvement and reliability projects.\n\nManage maintenance backlog and ensure timely completion of work orders.\n\nFinancial and Administrative Responsibilities\nMonitor maintenance spending and work within approved budgets.\n\nManage inventory and procurement of maintenance materials and spare parts.\n\nReview contractor work and ensure compliance with plant requirements.\n\nMaintain accurate maintenance records and documentation within CMMS systems (SAP).\n\nPrepare reports related to maintenance performance, costs, and reliabilitymetrics.\n\nOperational Support\nProvide leadership coverage and support for a 24-hour operation.\n\nRespond to critical equipment failures and plant emergencies as needed.\n\nCoordinate maintenance support during outages, shutdowns, and major repairs.\n\nWork collaboratively with production, engineering, environmental, quality, and safety personnel.\n\nSafety Leadership\nChampion and enforce all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.\n\nConduct regular safety meetings, audits, inspections, and job observations.\n\nEnsure compliance with lockout/tagout, confined space, hot work, and other critical safety procedures.\n\nInvestigate incidents, near misses, and equipment failures and implement corrective actions.\n\nPromote a proactive safety culture among union and salaried employees.\n\nQualifications\nRequired\nHigh school diploma or GED.\n\nMinimum5 years of industrial maintenance experience.\n\nMinimum 2 years of supervisory or lead experience in a union manufacturing or mining environment.\n\nWorking knowledge of mechanical maintenance principles related to crushers, conveyors, pumps, hydraulic systems, rotating equipment, and material handling systems.\n\nFamiliarity with OSHA and MSHA safety requirements.\n\nStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).\n\nPreferred\nAssociate degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical technology, electrical technology, or related field.\n\nExperience in lime, cement, aggregates, mining, quarrying, or other heavy industrial operations.\n\nExperience with reliability-centered maintenance practices.\n\nKnowledge of welding, fabrication, and mobile equipment maintenance.\n\nExperience with budget management and capital project coordination.\n\nWorking Conditions\nIndustrial manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise, vibration, and varying weather conditions.\n\nRoutine walking, climbing stairs and ladders, and working in and around heavy industrial equipment.\n\nMust be available to support day and night shift operations and respond to off-hour emergencies as required.\n\nRequired use of personal protective equipment
