The Process Engineer Summer through Winter Co-Op (6 months) will be responsible for supporting engineering activities related to lime kiln process and associated production units. This position will collect data, perform analysis, and prepare reports on different unit operations. Expectations are to work with the Site Management team and Corporate Process Engineering on various projects, tasks and initiatives to support the plant kiln operations.\nReports to: Corporate Process Engineer\nFunctional Relationship:\nOperations Management e.g. Operations Managers and plant personnel including Salary and Hourly workforce\n\nMid-level management positions in North America\n\nCarmeuse Engineering and Technical Group\n\nCorporate Environmental Group\n\nLists of Tasks:\nIdentify production bottlenecks, develop and execute action plans, and assess the results.\n\nAssist Process Engineer(s) with designs, support, research and calculations.\n\nProvide technical support to production, maintenance, environmental, and quality.\n\nMonitor reliability of the processes to define paybacks for improvements.\n\nDocument problems related to the process or systems as seen or received from production.
