If you're passionate about making a difference in this critical field, we invite you to explore a career with Carollo.\nResponsibilities\nResponsible for budget monitoring\nMonitors and enforces construction quality\nResponsible for monitoring, observing and reporting on safety issues of the project site\nPrepares monthly contract status reports, budget reviews, amendment requests and negotiations\nCoordinates personnel and construction activities with other construction managers throughout the companies\nResponsible for preparing and participating in interviews\nDevelops portions of proposals and prepares meeting agendas\nPrepares and negotiates contracts\nResponsible for identifying potential projects, writing proposals, making presentations, drafting letters and participating in interviews\nMentors and trains mid level resident engineers\nReport and letter writing\nQualifications\nRequires thorough understanding of construction management processes and in-depth financial understanding of construction management.\nAbility to work independently and have strong personnel management skills\nAbility to communicate effectively with clients, contractors and lead engineer/project team, and deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints\nDetail orientated and extremely organized\nWork within a team environment and communicate clearly to lead engineer, clients and contractor\nHighly motivated self-starter with the ability to learn quickly\nStrong knowledge of construction management software including Primavera P6 and Bentley PWCM (EADOC)\nAdvanced knowledge and understanding of construction methods, standards, specifications and plans\nStrong oral and written communications skills\nStrong computer and internet skills\nProficient in MS Word and Excel\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nMinimum of 10 years experience in managing the construction of water and wastewater facilities; the last 5 years of experience should include projects with a construction value of over $15 million\nCertified Construction Manager or professional engineer\nCompletion of OSHA 10-hour safety course and other construction safety training\nCritical Leadership position that requires project lead experience\nPreferred Qualifications\nAssociate of Science or Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction related program\nCompensation Range\nAn employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.\nOther Compensation and Benefits\nCarollo is committed to providing employees with a competitive, comprehensive benefits program that provides the support employees and their families need to lead healthy, productive lives.
