If you're passionate about making a difference in this critical field, we invite you to explore a career with Carollo.\nResponsibilities\nWe are seeking a Construction Manager Resident Engineer to assist with construction projects in the El Paso, TX area.\nResponsible for budget monitoring, construction quality and safety on the project site\nPrepares monthly contract status reports, budget reviews, amendment requests and negotiations\nInvolved on team that prepares proposals and conducts interviews\nPrepares and negotiates contracts under the supervision of the senior construction manager\nResponsible for working as a team with the contractor, client, field team and designer\nReport writing\nResponsible for preparation of meeting agendas and portions of proposals\nMentors and trains entry level construction/field engineers\nQualifications\n5-10 years experience including a lead role in $10 million or greater water/wastewater project\nCompletion of OSHA 10-hour safety course and other construction safety training\nThorough understanding of construction management processes and in-depth financial understanding of construction management\nAbility to communicate effectively with clients, contractors and lead engineer/project team, and deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints\nHighly motivated self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and be extremely organized\nWorking knowledge of construction management software including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project\nWorking knowledge and understanding of construction methods, standards, specifications and plans is a plus\nStrong oral and written communications skills\nStrong computer and internet skills\nProficient in MS Word and Excel\nBachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction related program\nPreferred Qualifications\nProficient in Document Management Systems (i.e. Procore, Bentley PW/EADoc, etc.)\nOSHA 30-hour safety course\nCertified Construction Manager or ability to obtain certification\nCompensation Range\nAn employee’s pay will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.\nOther Compensation and Benefits\nCarollo is committed to providing employees with a competitive, comprehensive benefits program that provides the support employees and their families need to lead healthy, productive lives.
