If you're passionate about making a difference in this critical field, we invite you to explore a career with Carollo.\nThis posting is scheduled to expire on 1/30/2027 if the position has not been filled prior to that date.\nResponsibilities\nSupport project managers in the development and execution of project deliverables\nDevelop Excel-based financial models to analyze utility financial plans, allocate costs to appropriate categories, and design rates and charges that equitably recover costs, as well as complete other quantitative and qualitative analyses\nResearch, analyze, and validate large sets of data from multiple sources\nProduce technical work products that are accurate, concise, and transparent\nAssist with preparation of proposals, presentations, and reports\nExhibit appropriate professional behavior while interacting with clients and colleagues\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree (engineering, finance, business, economics, mathematics, accounting, or other related fields)\n2-5 years of experience performing financial analysis functions in corporate or government organizations, preferably utilities\nDemonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel\nStrong analytics experience or formal education in analyzing large datasets and summarizing them for the purpose of forming conclusions and recommendations\nExcellent written skills, including reporting of analytical results\nExcellent oral communication skills, including presenting analytical results to clients or stakeholders in a simple and concise manner\nCreative, curious, and team-oriented attitude\nAbility to work within a small team that may be spread across multiple geographic locations\nAbility to work independently on specific assignments once direction is provided\nWilling and able to travel overnight as needed (less than 30% of the time)\nMust be a proactive self-starter who responds well to multiple and simultaneous tasks\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s degree (MBA, MS, or similar)\nModeling proficiency and experience with Microsoft Excel and/or relational databases\nExperience with statistical coding languages (e.g., R or Python) and dashboarding software (e.g., Tableau or PowerBI)\nTechnical report and proposal writing experience\nCompensation Range\n$90,000 to $120,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
