If you're passionate about making a difference in this critical field, we invite you to explore a career with Carollo.\nResponsibilities\nServe as an engineer on the planning, design, construction and/or commissioning of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects.\nSpecialize in challenging projects outside of the treatment plant, including: the planning and design of water/wastewater pipelines, pump stations, trenchless pipelines, pipeline seismic retrofits, deep wastewater pump stations and many other diverse projects. \nWork on engineering planning and design projects and perform conceptual and preliminary design activities including site visits, overseeing fieldwork, alternatives analysis, and report preparation.\nDevelop civil engineering plans and specifications.\nPrepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects.\nPrepare technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables.\nAssist project manager with the planning, scheduling, coordinating, supervising, and reviewing of the work of the project team, including: environmental, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation/controls engineers; drafters, technicians; technical experts; and subconsultants.\nAssist project manager with meeting budget, schedule, and quality goals.\nReview contractor submittals for conformance with contract plans and specifications and evaluate requests for information as part of engineering services during construction.\nTravel may be required depending on the project assignment but most projects are local.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.\n4 to 8 years of directly relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering.\nRegistration as a Professional Engineer.\nApplication of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills with clients and project teams.\nWork well in a team environment.\nHighly motivated, articulate, and self-starting.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.\nActive in professional associations.\nCompensation Range\nAn employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.\nOther Compensation and Benefits\nCarollo is committed to providing employees with a competitive, comprehensive benefits program that provides the support employees and their families need to lead healthy, productive lives.
