If you're passionate about making a difference in this critical field, we invite you to explore a career with Carollo.\nResponsibilities\nExpand Carollo’s presence in the local stormwater market via targeted business development strategies, including growing specific client relationships and participating in select professional society activities.\nCollaborate with Stormwater Leads to develop/implement strategy for continued stormwater growth and innovation across the company.\nDevelop a stormwater project delivery team in North Carolina.\nManage planning and detailed design projects, including management of contract document production (i.e., plan sets and specifications), stormwater analysis, report writing, and other activities needed to support the planning, design, and construction services for stormwater systems. Project may include pipe drainage systems, open channels, pump stations, storage and treatment facilities, multi-benefit facilities, and green infrastructure.\nCollaborate with other engineering disciplines, designers, and scientists, among others, who support specific assignments.\nSome travel within North Carolina is expected. Travel outside of North Carolina may also be needed to support strategic national efforts.\nQualifications\nBachelor of Science degree in Civil, Environmental, or Agricultural Engineering or other appropriate engineering majors\n10+ years of experience relating to stormwater and water resources projects\nProfessional Engineering License in North Carolina or the ability to get one within 6 months\nMinimum 5 years of experience managing teams to deliver planning and design solutions for stormwater management challenges.\nMinimum 5 years of experience with client service and business development efforts, including project positioning, proposal preparation, interviews, and technical presentations\nAbility to present to groups and communicate effectively with clients and project team\nExperience leading the development of federal, state, and local permit applications and compliance reports\nExperience developing design documentation and bid packages.\nExperience supervising work of, training, and mentoring project staff.\nExperience with preparation of engineering and construction cost estimates.\nKnowledge and experience designing green infrastructure and nature-based solutions\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nStrong team building skills\nFamiliarity with standard stormwater analysis tools, including Hydra CAD, HEC-RAS (1D/2D), HEC-HMS, SWMM (EPA,XP,PC), ArcGIS, and Civil 3D (SSA).\nProficiency in the preparation of technical reports, graphics, and guidance documents\nProficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster of Science degree in Civil, Environmental, or Agricultural Engineering or other appropriate engineering major\nFamiliarity with FEMA floodplain regulations and submittal of Letters of Map Revision (LOMR) and Conditional Letters of Map Revision (CLOMR)\nFamiliarity with advanced stormwater analysis:\nFamiliarity with Benefit Cost Analysis (USACE, FEMA)\nCompensation Range\nAn employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.\nOther Compensation and Benefits\nCarollo is committed to providing employees with a competitive, comprehensive benefits program that provides the support employees and their families need to lead healthy, productive lives.
